Would you like to make a difference for people who have had to leave everything behind? Then we warmly invite you to become a volunteer at the John Noakes Foundation. With your time, attention, and talents, you help create a place where refugees feel seen and supported.
Not a tennis player, but a real star
You do not have to be a top level tennis player to be welcome with us. What we are really looking for are people with an open attitude, patience, and commitment — people who understand how important human connection is for someone who has to start over.
How can you help?
In Zoetermeer, we are looking for volunteers who:
- Help support the Sunday tennis lessons, preferably with some tennis experience, but this is not a requirement.
- Help us connect with refugees and inform them about our activities.
- Contribute ideas and help organise new initiatives, such as language classes, cultural activities or other sports lessons.
If you have an idea that is not listed here, we would love to hear from you. We are always open to new ideas and believe that the best initiatives grow through collaboration.
Being a volunteer at our foundation means becoming part of a warm and supportive community. You will see the impact of your efforts straight away: a smile, a moment of relaxation, and a renewed sense of trust.
